Seeb wins the general basketball league

Muscat: Al Seeb Club was crowned champion of the Oman Basketball League for the 2024-2025 sports season today, after defeating Al Bashair Club 62/61 in the final match held at the sub-hall of the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bousher under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Yahya bin Nasser Al Khasibi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs, in the presence of Eng. Khalfan bin Saleh Al Naabi, Chairman of the Oman Basketball Association.

Nizwa Club won third place after defeating Ahli Sidab with a score of 58-50, in the third place match.

Agassi Tonion from Nizwa Club also won the top scorer award in the general league, scoring 231 points. He won the three-point scorer award, scoring 31 three-pointers.

Osama Al-Riyami from Al-Bishara Club won the best playmaker award, and Rashid Al-Wahaibi from Al-Seeb Club won the best pivot player award. At the end of the final match, His Excellency the sponsor of the event honored the three clubs that won first place and the players who won individual skills awards.
