Suhar:  SOHAR Port and Freezone has been recognized across two categories at the Logistics Middle East Awards 2026, winning “Infrastructure Development Project of the Year” and receiving a “Highly Commended” designation for “Logistics Hub of the Year.” The accolades highlight SOHAR’s continued advancement on its strategic path as a destination connecting businesses to the world, underpinning its role in Oman’s economic diversification journey under Oman Vision 2040.

The Infrastructure Development Project of the Year award acknowledges SOHAR’s role as master developer of the enabling marine works for the MARSA LNG project, a USD 1.6 billion development by TotalEnergies and OQ Exploration and Production. This project reflects the port’s commitment to delivering large-scale, high-impact infrastructure that supports sustainable industrial and energy development in Oman.
