Switzerland to remove Oman from Mandatory Quarantine list: COVID-19

Geneva: His Excellency Ambassador Idris bin Abdulrahman Al-Khanjri, the Sultanate’s permanent representative to the United Nations and international organizations in Geneva, said that the Swiss authorities decided to remove the Sultanate from the list of countries and regions that are subject to mandatory quarantine upon arrival.

His Excellency confirmed through his tweet that this decision will start from today, September 7, 2020, accompanied by his tweet with pictures from the website of the Federal Office of Public Health in Switzerland (FOPH)

The Supreme Committee in charge of examining mechanisms to deal with developments resulting from the spread of the Coronavirus has decided yesterday to open air traffic for international flights, starting from October 1, 2020, provided that those flights are scheduled according to health data for specific destinations and according to bilateral agreements with other airlines.
