The Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance confirms its readiness for the tropical situation.
Muscat: The Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance (PACDA) has put its centers on standby, as well as activating operational plans for dealing with climatic conditions, said in a statement PACDA
The authority stated that the governorates expected to be affected were provided with a number of equipment and mechanisms specialized in search and rescue operations to support civil defense and ambulance centers to respond and deal with reports that may occur as a result of the tropical depression, added PACDA”
The Public Authority for Civil Defense indicated that if its services are requested, contact the emergency numbers 9999 or 24343666.
It also called on the general public of citizens and residents to take caution when raining and the flow of valleys, not to risk crossing them, to stay away from low places, valley streams, electricity poles and lighting, to install boats in safe places, to monitor children, not to spread or circulate rumors, and to follow the bulletins issued by the competent authorities.
