UAE announces Sept 15, as holiday for Prophet Muhammad’s birthday

Dubai: The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has issued a circular to all ministries and federal entities regarding the Prophet’s Birthday holiday in the federal government, for the year 1446 AH.

The circular stated, “Based on the UAE Cabinet resolution regarding the approved official 2024 holiday agenda for the government and private sectors in the country, it has been decided that the Prophet’s Birthday holiday will be on Sunday, 15th September, 2024.”

On this occasion, FAHR extended its best wishes to the UAE leadership, government, and people, as well as the Arab and Islamic nations.
