    • Volunteer group to be formed in each wilayat in Oman: undersecretary of the ministry of social development

    Muscat: The 19th Press Conference of the Supreme Committee on Covid-19 held on Thursday, 12 November 2020.

    H.E Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al-Shamsi – Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development

    1, The target volunteer group will be 18-60 years of age, involving medical, legal and other specialties and are free from any chronic diseases.

    2, The group will be tasked to hold awareness raising campaigns, monitor the extent of compliance with the decisions of the Supreme Committee and give guidance to decision-makers.

    3, There might be other tasks assigned to the group in the future, may include issuing a report of an offence

    4, Registration will be open from 7 days via an online link through the official media account of Oman vs Covid-19 & a local newspaper

    5, There will be databases established to register all volunteers in each wilayat , who will cover different domains, medical , legal, media and other.

    6, Volunteering will be organized in three phases, training the teams on the art of dealing with public, awareness-raising and promoting the campaign in media.
