Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce announce engagement

Singer Taylor Swift has just announced her engagement to NFL player Travis Kelce in an Instagram post.

The photos showed an intimate proposal in a garden, with the singer showing off her ring. She captioned the post: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married”.

The pair have been romantically linked since the summer of 2023, shortly after Kelce mentioned her on his New Heights podcast.

Taylor Swift has also announced her new album The Life of a Showgirl earlier this month, which will be out on October 3.
