    Karwa Motors Introduces New Bus to Support Oman’s Public Transport Needs

    Muscat: Karwa Motors has announced the production of a new bus designed to meet the requirements of mass transportation with high efficiency, focusing on performance and safety, as part of its efforts to strengthen the automotive industry in the Sultanate of Oman and keep pace with the growing demand for public transport vehicles.

    The launch reflects the company’s commitment to providing practical and safe transportation solutions that meet the needs of government entities and institutions in the Omani market.

    The new vehicle, named the “Karwa Minibus,” has a seating capacity of 14 passengers and has been designed to suit a wide range of transportation requirements, with particular emphasis on operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.

    Dr. Ibrahim bin Ali Al Balushi, CEO of Karwa Motors, said that the production of the new bus represents an important addition within the company’s plans to support the industrial sector by offering products that meet the demand for mass transportation in the Sultanate of Oman and export markets. He noted that the production of the Karwa Minibus marks a step toward building a national automotive industry capable of meeting market needs with high efficiency and quality.

    He added that localizing the manufacture of mass transportation vehicles is a key pillar in providing safe and reliable transport solutions that align with the requirements of government agencies and institutions. He stressed the company’s commitment to designing its products in accordance with operational standards suited to the working environment in Oman, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.

    Karwa Motors places significant emphasis on after-sales services through an extensive network of 23 service stations across various governorates of the Sultanate. The company is also working to expand its exports to around 10 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Algeria, Iraq, Nigeria, and Ethiopia, with future plans to export to Jordan, Egypt, and Tanzania.
