    • Fifth Entrepreneurs Forum in South A’Sharqiyah Begins

    Muscat: The Fifth Entrepreneurs Forum, entitled “Together to Promote Economic Growth”, began today, which is organized by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Al Sharqiyah South Branch, in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor, and with the participation of many government and private agencies and entrepreneurs, and it will last for two days at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences Sur.

    The opening of the forum was held under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Muhammad bin Thuwaini Al Said.

    The forum included several working papers, the first entitled “The Role of Entrepreneurship in Supporting the Economic Development of the Sultanate of Oman” presented by Abdulaziz bin Saeed Al Raisi, Vice President of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, and the second paper entitled “The Role of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Supporting Small and Medium Enterprises” presented by Hussain bin Marzouq Al-Harassi, Acting Director of the Small and Medium Enterprises Department at the Amman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

    The forum included meetings and dialogue sessions with the participation of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, the National Center for Informatics Safety, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Ministry of Labor, in addition to presenting success stories and inspiring experiences.
