During the meeting, investment projects in the governorate were reviewed, including an alternative road project linking South Al Batinah with Jabal Al Akhdar to facilitate access to Jabal Al Akhdar without the need for four-wheel drive vehicles, which will contribute to enhancing tourism movement. The initial feasibility study for the road was completed in coordination with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, and it resulted in determining Two options for the road, and a proposal to implement it as an investment or development project is underway.
The meeting touched on the alternative road project linking Al-Maabela to Al-Dakhiliyah Governorate, which will contribute to finding an alternative route for heavy vehicles and trucks heading to the governorates of Al-Dakhiliyah, North Al-Sharqiyah and South Al-Sharqiyah without the need to stop and enter crowded areas. An initial feasibility study was carried out by a consultant assigned by the Ministry of Finance, and the routes are being reviewed. proposed route.
