Muscat, 11 March 2025 – Reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility and community support, ahlibank has signed a strategic partnership with Al Rahma Association for Motherhood and Child Welfare to launch a series of charitable initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan. These initiatives aim to provide essential assistance to underprivileged families, enhance their living conditions, and support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by offering marketing platforms that foster economic empowerment.
As part of this collaboration, ahlibank will provide Eid clothing to over 250 underprivileged families, ensuring they can celebrate the festive season with joy. Additionally, recognizing the importance of a comfortable living environment, the bank will also contribute essential household appliances, including air conditioners, to families registered under Al Rahma Association. This initiative is designed to enhance their standards of living and alleviate financial burdens.
Additionally, the agreement includes a dedicated booth for home-based businesses supported by Al Rahma Association at the bank’s third annual Ramadan Souq. This initiative will provide entrepreneurs with a valuable platform to present and sell their products, fostering financial independence and contributing to their growth and financial independence.
Jumana Al Hashmi, AGM – Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications at ahlibank, emphasized the bank’s strong commitment to creating a positive social impact, stating:
“At ahlibank, corporate social responsibility is at the heart of our values. We believe in creating meaningful and lasting change by extending our support beyond banking services. Our initiatives aim to empower communities, foster financial independence, and promote a culture of giving. Ramadan provides the perfect opportunity to reinforce these principles, and we are confident that our efforts will make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.”
She further highlighted the significance of such collaboration with charitable organizations to maximize impact, noting that this partnership aligns with ahlibank’s broader vision of expanding its community outreach and increasing the reach of its social initiatives. Supporting home-based businesses, she added, is a strategic step towards economic empowerment, contributing to sustainable development and aligning with Oman Vision 2040.
Through these initiatives, ahlibank continues to reaffirm its dedication to making a positive and sustainable impact on society. The bank remains committed to expanding its social contributions, implementing transformative projects, and enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families across Oman.
