Arabian Gulf Cup: Omran to Set Up Football Fan Arena at OCEC from January 6 – 19

Muscat: To mark the 25th round of Gulf Cup, Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran) today announced the establishment of a Football Fans Square at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC).

The Iraqi city of Basra will host this year’s Gulf Cup tournament, scheduled to be held from 6 to 19 January 2022.

The square, which will be a destination for football fans and their families, will be venue to the tournament’s accompanying activities and events.

Gulf Cup matches will be broadcast live on giant screens at the Football Fans Square, which can accommodate up to 1,300 fans. It will be an ideal place for football fans to follow the matches and encourage their national teams.

In a statement Omran said: “Following the success of FootballFanFestival, Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre will be hosting the FootballFanArena in conjunction with the upcoming ArabianGulfCup.

Each match will be broadcast live on big screens at the Arena, creating an unforgettable tournament experience for all visiting fans.

The Football Fan Arena will welcome its visitors from 6 – 19 Jan, 2023.”
