    Groundbreaking ceremony for redevelopment of the Lasil and Al Baydha copper mines in Block 4

    Muscat: MDO Oman celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for redeveloping the Lasil and Al Baydha copper mines in Block 4 in the Wilayat of Sohar and Liwa.

    The event was held under the patronage of His Excellency Eng. Salim bin Nasser Al-Awfi, Minister of Energy and Minerals

    The project marks one of MDO’s first copper ore mining project, which aligns with MDO Oman strategic objective towards investing in metallic minerals to keep up with growing global demand.
