Oman Falls to Iran, Eyes Third Place at Asian Beach Games

Sanya: Oman’s beach volleyball team will play the third-place match tomorrow at the 6th Asian Beach Games in Sanya, China, after losing to Iran 2-1 in the semi-final.

The match scores were 17-21, 21-15 and 13-15, in a closely contested encounter that saw the Omani team deliver a strong performance despite challenging weather conditions.

The team will now compete for third and fourth place in the continental event.

The national squad is coached by Badr bin Saeed Al-Subhi and includes players Mazen bin Sulaiman Al-Hashemi and Hood bin Rashid Al-Jalbubi.
