Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by Oman National Hydrographic Office of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), hosts a workshop titled “Maritime Safety”.
The event, which runs till 25 October 2023, sees the participation of several regional and international organizations. The workshop aims to activate joint cooperation among hydrographic offices regionally and internationally.
It also underscores the importance of adhering to the requirements of the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) to achieve maritime safety by implementing the international programme for capacity building which was approved by the IHO. – ONA
