Basra: Our national football team will kick off its campaign in the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup tomorrow (Friday). Our national team will take on its Iraqi counterpart in the opening match of the tournament, which will be held in Basra tomorrow at 8:00 pm (Muscat time).
The tournament continues until 19 January 2023 with the participation of eight teams divided into two groups. The first and second placed teams will advance to the semi-finals.
Branko Ivankovic, coach of our national football team said during the press conference held today that our national team is fully prepared and we will give everything we have during the tournament.
He added that we are fully aware of the readiness of the Iraqi national team, the host of the tournament, and their high ambitions in this tournament.
