Oman Triathlon League Round Two Wraps Up with Strong Local and International Participation
Al Musannah: The second round of the Oman Triathlon League concluded today at Barceló Resort in Al Musannah, under the patronage of Sheikh Badr bin Nasser Al Farsi, Governor of Al Musannah, with wide participation from Oman and abroad.
The round featured competitions in the Olympic and Sprint categories, in addition to junior races. The events witnessed strong competition and close finishes.
In the men’s Olympic category, Hashem Al Farsi secured first place, followed by Saeed Al Maamari in second and Mohammed Al Rahbi in third.
In the women’s Olympic category, Britain’s Arlene took first place, with compatriot Lauren in second, while Oman’s Reem Al Harthi finished third.
In the men’s Sprint category, Muhannad Al Jabri won first place, followed by Abdullah Al Kulaibi in second and Mahmoud Al Kulaibi in third.
In the women’s Sprint category, Britain’s Jennifer finished first, followed by compatriot Seranet in second and Morgan in third.
The junior competition also witnessed strong participation, with Younis Al Salti taking first place, followed by Saeed Al Ghilani in second and Al Qasim Saeed in third.
The round forms part of the Oman Triathlon League series, which aims to develop athletes’ capabilities, provide Omani competitors with regular competitive opportunities, attract participants from different countries and contribute to raising the standard and development of triathlon in Oman.
