Oman Shooting Team Achieves Strong Result at Gulf Games
Doha: The national shooting team won three new bronze medals during the fourth Gulf Games currently being held in Doha, Qatar, from 11 to 21 May 2026.
Shooter Salem Al Hinai secured the bronze medal in the individual 10-metre pistol competition.
The trio of Salem Al Hinai, Sulaiman Al Rahbi and Salem Al Shidi also won the bronze medal in the team 10-metre pistol event.
In addition, Salem Al Hinai and Nouf Al Saidi claimed the bronze medal in the mixed doubles 10-metre pistol competition.
With these results, the national shooting team’s tally at the tournament rose to two silver medals and four bronze medals.
