“Tasaeud” Program Launched in Sur to Support SME Growth
Sur: The “Tasaeud” (Rising) Program was launched today in the Wilayat of Sur, South A’Sharqiyah Governorate, with the aim of supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and enabling them to progress to more advanced stages of growth and sustainability.
The program targets 35 entrepreneurs who own SMEs and is organized by OQ Gas Networks (OQGN) in cooperation with the Office of the Governor of South A’Sharqiyah. The initiative seeks to enhance integration between the public and private sectors while linking SMEs with available opportunities that support their expansion and long-term sustainability.
The “Tasaeud” program provides a comprehensive practical platform focused on improving the performance of participating enterprises and enhancing their readiness for growth. This is achieved through specialized development tracks covering strategic planning, financial management, value creation, governance, and decision-making, under the supervision of a group of experts and specialists.
A key feature of the program is its applied methodology, which is based on the specific realities of each participating enterprise. Rather than offering theoretical solutions or general models, the program works closely with business owners to design realistic and implementable growth pathways aligned with actual market needs.
Eng. Faisal Ali Al Maamari, Chief Human Resources, Technology and Culture Officer at OQ Gas Networks, stated that the “Tasaeud” program provides practical tools and realistic development opportunities that enable entrepreneurs to achieve growth, enhance competitiveness, and build long-term partnerships. He added that the program reflects OQ Gas Networks’ commitment to empowering SMEs to achieve sustainable growth and competitiveness, in line with the objectives of economic development and Oman Vision 2040.
