Green Transformation: Parks and Roundabouts Upgraded in South Al Batinah

Rustaq:  South Al Batinah Governorate continues to implement several development and beautification projects in various wilayats of the governorate in line with the requirements of the era, according to the latest technologies in materials and tools used in implementation, and to be a decent outlet in terms of form and content and meet the needs of its visitors for services.

Among these beautification projects is the beautification of four roundabouts on the Rustaq-Musannah highway. These completed works have added beauty and formed a natural artistic painting. Beautification and maintenance works have been carried out for a number of gardens and parks in various wilayats of the governorate, including the Al Taybeen neighborhood garden, Barka Park in the wilayat of Barka, Nakhal Park and Wadi Al Maawil, and the establishment of the Dam Garden in the wilayat of Al Awabi.

Work is currently underway to complete the Nakhal and Wadi Al Maawil gardens. In addition to rehabilitating the irrigation system in these sites, expanding the area of ​​afforestation and green spaces, providing them with various modern garden games, and establishing many basic facilities within them.

There is also a trend towards continuing to implement many future projects in the field of gardens, horticulture, landscaping and beautification projects, some of which have been put up for tender and some of which are being worked on by specialists in the Gardens and Parks Department of the Technical Affairs Department.

The engineers concerned with this aspect are working on studying and preparing the necessary designs for the projects in preparation for putting them up for tender during the next phase.
