Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican former President Donald #Trump are locked in a close race for the White House, with most polls closed early Wednesday across the US but results still coming in.
US media projects Trump has won 24 states, including major prizes like Texas and Ohio, as well as key battlegrounds Georgia and North Carolina. Harris has secured 15 states, including large electoral wins in California, New York, and Washington, DC.
Currently, Trump holds 248 electoral votes to Harris’s 214. Harris’s campaign announced she will not address her supporters on election night, as Trump inches closer to victory.
