University of Nizwa Celebrates Graduation of 736 Students

Nizwa: The University of Nizwa celebrated this evening the graduation of 736 male and female students holding a master’s degree and a higher diploma for educational qualification, under the patronage of Her Excellency Dr. Laila bint Ahmed Al-Najjar, Minister of Social Development.

The number of graduate students in the field of Higher Diploma in Educational Qualification reached 703 male and female students, while the number of Master’s graduates reached 33 students from various specializations and academic degrees.

Dr. Ahmed bin Khalfan Al Rawahi, President of the University of Nizwa, delivered a speech in which he referred to the results achieved by the university in the QS index and its achievement of advanced positions in scientific research and innovation, culminating in its ranking (61) according to the QS classification among the leading universities in the Arab world.

The ceremony included the showing of a visual film about the university’s progress and the most prominent academic, research and societal successes it has achieved during the past period, a poem, and honoring of graduates. The ceremony was attended by a number of honorable men and women, members of the State Council, Their Excellencies members of the Shura Council, and parents of graduating students.
