Yango Group Unveils Ramadan 2025 Initiatives Across MENA

Muscat: Yango Group, the global tech company bringing cutting-edge services to local communities, is marking the holy month of Ramadan with exciting initiatives across its wide range of services, bringing entertainment, smart technology, and community support to users across MENA.

With rich offerings across entertainment, mobility, and AI-powered solutions, Yango Group is committed to offering innovative and meaningful experiences during Ramadan. From exclusive Ramadan video streaming content to various community-driven initiatives, Yango Group aims to make this season more special for its users in the region.

Yango Play: A Premium Entertainment Experience

Yango Play, the company’s digital entertainment platform, is kicking off Ramadan with an exclusive lineup of content designed to captivate audiences throughout the Holy Month. Available across every market in MENA it operates in, this lineup includes three exclusive series — Al-Ghawy, Al-Nos, and Qahwet Al-Mahata — alongside Qalby w Moftaho, Wlad Al-Shams, and Gawdar 2, each with 15 episodes. The lineup offers a mix of drama, comedy, and suspense to suit all tastes.

Yango Play is also introducing new ART titles, featuring a variety of content with special Ramadan schedules. A limited-time Ramadan offer will make it even easier for users to enjoy their favorite shows.

In Egypt, Yango Play will host a Suhoor event for digital content creators in Cairo, bringing the creative community together during the holy month.

Yango Ride & Delivery: Supporting Drivers and Couriers

Yango mobility services — Ride and Delivery —  are giving back to its partner drivers and couriers with special Ramadan initiatives. Every Friday, Iftar boxes will be distributed in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah. Muslim Mode, a feature that provides 15-minute reminders before each prayer time, automatic muting of notifications at the start of prayers, and points to the direction of the Qibla, will also be activated to improve the experience for fasting passengers, drivers and couriers.

In Oman, Yango Ride will continue the Iftar box distribution while also launching the Drivers’ Dream Fulfillment program to recognize and reward dedicated partner drivers. Through the program, the ‘My Dreams’ in-app feature allows users to learn about drivers’ personal goals and offer tips towards achieving aspirations like buying a home, covering medical expenses, or improving their living conditions.

Yasmina: Smart Features and Community Support

Yasmina, the human-like AI assistant by Yango Group, will also bring a new suite of features this Ramadan, aimed at enriching spirituality, family bonding, and streamlining daily life during the holy month. These features include the ability to play Ramadan duas — spiritual supplications that hold special significance this season. To listen to duas, users will only need to say, “Yasmina, play Ramadan dua” or “شغلي ادعية رمضانية” in Arabic.

Yango Maps: Helping Users Find Standout Iftar Spots

Yango Maps, the company’s  feature-rich app for seamless navigation, is launching a special Ramadan guide for users in the UAE, highlighting various restaurants and cafes for Iftar. From traditional dishes to creative international menus, users can easily find relevant places to break their fast.
